Malek Fahd Islamic School paid 'extortionate' rent to its founder, court hears

The Australian Federation of Islamic Councils (AFIC) exercised "absolute" control of a Sydney school, which allowed it to dismiss dissenting board members and charge "extortionate" rent of more than $1 million a year, a court has heard.
